Dear Reader:
On April 24, Debbie Dunn took her Russell Library Gallery audience on a whirlwind photographic tour from the Galapagos Islands to Lake Titicaca to Vietnam to Morocco and Normandy and points in between. We saw turtles, camels, monkeys, vicuña, (theirs is the most expensive wool in the world), mountains, sand dunes, pyramids, the Eiffel Tower, the tunnels of Ho Chi Minh City and the crosses row on row of Normandy. We walked vicariously through “The Blue City,” “The Red City,” Imperial City, Machu Picchu and could almost feel the mist of geysers on our cheeks, in Iceland.
Ms. Dunn is a lovely human, a great microcosm of both Canadians and Manitobans with her friendly demeanor and winning personality. We hope to welcome Debbie back for another such event in the fall. Thank you, Debbie Dunn, for sharing your time and your photographs with us.
