Library News: March 15, 2024

Dear Reader:

On March 4th, the Russell Library was closed due to road closures and, again on Wednesday evening, the 6th, we closed early due to weather.  This is the week before Spring Break and Spring is here and before you know it, the Pussy Willows will be out.  While winter was relatively mild, excepting the cold snaps here and there, surely, we are all ready to curl bare toes into sun-drenched soil and see the Robins back on tree limbs singing their familiar song.

As the weather warms up, we are looking forward to welcoming more school and daycare groups to the library again.  From March 21-23, between one and two o’clock, at Russell Library, we welcome you and your friends to come in and enjoy guest readers for story-time.  All ages welcome.  We hope to see you soon.

“Hope is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul – and sings the tunes without the words – and never stops at all.” – Emily Dickinson
